I liked this book of travel, humor and wit.
Very well written.
I would recommend this for anyone, not just the adventurist people.
For all of us armchair adventure travelers, Vacation Boy offers us a rare opportunity to travel to remote corners of the world and live through some very informative and often hilarious exploits. I highly recommend it!
If there was a medal for bravery during travels, Jon undoubtedly deserves it! His adventures go far beyond what the average "tourist" ever dreamed about. Witty and thoroughly engrossing, he takes you to places you didn't even know existed. I look forward to another one of his books.
Sattler takes trips that I would hate to go on but would love to *have gone* on.
His writing is unpolished which somehow makes the stories even more real to me, the armchair adventurer.
Great beach reading, but also real insight and tips for travelers--especially those with a sense of adventure! Buy this book!
