"Don Sebastian, the vampire that is horrified by man!" I read this series years ago & loved it. Les Daniels does a great job of contrasting Don Sebastian "the monster", with the real historical evil of the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution.

Sadly , Mr. Daniels passed away after writing only 5 books to the series. I recommend all of them, but I think this one (third of the series) is the best.
