I was happy and disappointed that this wasn’t the last book in the series. Happy because the breaking of the bloodstone and requisite release of the others was freaking fascinating to me. Disappointed because the book wasn’t long enough!

The thing that sticks out for me most is the setting, where Blythe lives anyway, since it was where I was born and raised. I kept trying to place where they were in relation to my memories of the city. I wish I could tell where the majority of the story took place and wish that TCP was able to put in some landmarks. Kind of like how the Eiffel tower shows Paris, the Statue of Liberty means NYC and the Arch for St. Louis etc. The landmark that always sticks out for me is the arrowhead on a hill/mountain in San Bernardino. Anyone who has been there knows that if you can see the northern part of the valley/city the arrowhead on the side is visible. I remember looking for it through the airplane window the times I flew home.
Anyway, this was my favorite addition to the series yet. The threat of the others was practically tangible and I thought there would be some scary stuff from three sides. The scariest of all of the races, were those that only came out at night, smelled realllly bad, and had a real omfg sort of reproductive cycle. I won’t say much on that, but I will say that she did a really good job of creating a scary ass monster. Her descriptions for the other two races were intriguing also and I wanted to read more about them, mainly the winged races.
When it comes to the relationship in the story I think she created two men who do a good job fulfilling most women’s fantasies, lol. I mean an A-list, action star, great actor; newly a vampire and an empathic man with Latino good looks who has a sensitive side that you don’t learn the details of until you read the story. The best thing about both men was how they handled her kids. I know to some it might look like a snap shot of the Waltons at times, but I think she did a really good job of depicting teenagers, vampires, and all of that in a practically apocalyptic setting. Her kids aren’t perfect, her son was a real butthead a few times, but she did a really good job creating characters that seemed real to me ... despite the book being a vampire ménage urban fantasy book anyway, lol.
Blythe, like most of Tracy Cooper-Posey heroines, is a kick-butt sort of woman. She is strong but has her weaknesses. I haven’t read all of her books, but this is the first I read where the heroine had to take into account her children with her life decisions. I’m not an expert on PTSD so I can’t really comment on that part, but I can say that I wasn’t to wild about how anti-depressants were portrayed. I know there are a lot of thoughts about their uses and how they affect different people. However, I never got it when books mention that they made the user drowsy, their mind foggy, or some similar reactions to the drugs. I can say as a person who has taken them for years that I never got a reaction like those when I took them. In fact, they do the total opposite for me.
Patrick is just super sexy to me. I adore how he was more of a private person and wasn’t too thrilled about that “wild and crazy” sort of lifestyle that actors are shown to portray. I was on the fence about his control as he was a new vampire and admired his reasoning behind why he wanted to become a vampire since at times it seemed a bit extreme. He just worked for me all around. Same as Dominic, whose back-story was very sad, but how he compensated for his hearing loss and what he gained despite of it made for a great read.
As to Nial and the revelation of vampires and their actual role to humanity I will say that was neatly done. I easily felt the frustrations they experienced when the humans were being pig-headed jerk-faces. I can’t wait to read the final book, I think, in the series since it will wrap things up and since there is a whole book that should be dedicated to how all of the races will learn to live together it should be really interesting.

Blood Revealed Blood Stone Book 4 edition by Tracy CooperPosey Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

**I received a free copy of this book from the author for a honest review.**
This is the 4th book in the Blood Stone series. I recommend that you read the other books in order to understand the storyline and all of the characters. That being said all of the books are awesome!
This book starts with vampires revealing their existance to humans and warning them about the Others. Then we get to experience single mom Blythe having an encounter with a terrifying Summanus. We get to see the developing relationships between our 3 main characters, Patrick Sauvage (an actor with addiction issues and recent vampire), Dominic Castellano (discovers that with his mind reading he has a unique ability) and Blythe Murray (a single mom and ex-soldier who dealt with PTSD issues in her past). I will leave the rest of the book for you to read.
The book allows you to visit your favorite threesomes from earlier books and delivers an amazing read with scorching hot sex scenes!!
I received this ARC copy in exchange for my honest review

Blood Ascendant is the final book in the Blood Stone Series. In my opinion the BEST book in the series! If you want a book that can make you laugh, cry, cuss, and want to toss it across the room then THIS IS YOUR BOOK! I was swearing a blue streak and wold have thrown the book (if I would not break my kindle) all in the first chapter.

This book wraps up the war with the Summanus. All of the couples that are represented in earlier book are here in this one. The author does a great job of letting the reader see how each couple handles life after the war. We see all of the happily ever afters. We also see how the war changes their perspective on life and peace.

THIS IS AN AWESOME READ!!! Tracy Cooper-Posey is a literary genius!! Read the Series and fall in love !!!!
I was extremely fortunate to be able to read this as an ARC.
Of course this is an unbiased review....but I must admit Tracey Cooper- Posey is my favorite modern author.
Yes, there are several other writers whose works I do enjoy, but, to have a story from Tracey waiting to be read is a treat.
Ok, enough of this.
Blood Revealed is part of the Blood Knot Series.
It is not necessary to have read the preceding books of the series. Each book is complete unto itself.
Of course some of the characters are in the other novels.
In " Blood Revealed " you will further your acquaintance with Sebastian, Ilaria, Rick, Roman, Kate, Garrett, Winter, Nial and other vampires and humans.
But this story really introduces you to Dominic, Blythe and Patrick ( whom we have met before.)
The Vampires have decided they must come out to the human populace. The reason for this is the breaking of the Blood Stone has unleashed the "others". The others are 3 types of beings, the Ciela, the Elah and the Summananus. The Summanus treat humans as food. The Vampires have decided to come out to help humans fight the "others". As you can imagine the knowledge of the vampire race existing did not go well.
As I do not give spoilers I just want to add THIS as all of Tracey's books is a delight to read. You become so involved with the story you really do not want the book to end.
